The sacrament of baptism marks a child’s official entry into the life of the church. During the baptismal service, parents promise that they will raise their child in the church, grow with their child in the Christian faith, and support the work of the church. We do not, therefore, baptize non-members’ children. If you are looking for a church home in which to participate and raise your children, we welcome you to join us for worship and, if St Paul’s seems like “the place,” worship with us for an extended period of time, and join the church yourselves. Then would be the appropriate time to discuss baptism with the pastor.
